George Washington Carver Center

As a result of the success of the Flagler County Youth Center, the Flagler County School Board entered a second partnership with Flagler County Commissioners to manage the George Washington Carver Community Center on July, 1, 2011.

During the school year, Monday through Friday, the Carver Center will sponsor:

• Community Programs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Open Gym with youth activities from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Various special programs after normal business hours and on the weekends.

Thanks to the Flagler County Education Foundation, the Carver Center hots a free Great Minds Literacy Camp during the summer months. 

The Carver Center has been renovated thanks to Flagler County, Flagler County Schools, and numerous community partners. These renovated have provided a clean, safe environment for youth and their families to utilize all year long.
